Lessons from Physics, Applied To Life
Words from a wise old (young?) teacher — the mechanisms of physics and the machinations of life
Sometimes, when the minutes stretch on for long hours and the sweat drips down your face, the only thing that keeps you going is a word, a phrase, that reminds you why you are here, what it means to hold on to your dreams.
The exhausting hours of physics classes, with our fingers cramping as the pen flies across the page, frantically trying to keep up with the flow of words, became bearable — even enjoyable — because of our physics sir — Erendra Chrysanthus. Not only is he an excellent teacher, with the extraordinary ability to make even the most complex concepts sound simple and logical, but he is also outspoken, and kind, and amusing.
As he narrates a story that starts off with a law of physics, three hundred exhausted students would snap back to attention, faces full of expectation, knowing that the story’s end would bear no remote connection to physics at all. His round expressive eyes and animated gestures add to the stigma of his storytelling.
What would begin as a slow, hesitant rumble of laughter would soon lead to an earth-shaking uproar as three hundred gasping, wheezing, students double up in uncontrollable mirth.
